Is there a recommended way to move runtipi to another user account or is it simply stopping the service, moving the folder and restarting it?
Yes, the recommended way is like you described. Stop everything create an archive and copy it over to your second machine. You can read a short guide here. Make sure to always have a copy on your original machine and test your migrated apps work as expected before fully wiping it
